Dr Nishita is currently working as an Associate Professor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at A.J Institute of Medical Sciences, Kuntikana, Mangalore. She has completed her Masters Course in Cosmetic Gynaecology from ILAMED Institute of Aesthetic Medicine.
She is Certified by the Government of India for Facial Aethetics (Botox, Fillers, Threads,Blood derivatives) She is practising as a Laser and Cosmetic Gynaecologist at Athena Hospital, Falnir, Mangalore. She is the Director of Athena Hospital and a Trustee of Act India Trust. She is also a certified Indian Menopause Practitioner.
She has completed her Fellowship in Minimal Invasive Surgery and also completed her Fellowship in Laparoscopic Daycare Hysterectomy. She is an AHA Certified Trainer in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). She is also a JeevaRaksha Certified Trainer in C-ECLS (Comprehensive Emergency Care and Life Support). She has also been the Treasurer of Mangalore Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society for 2 consecutive years. She has several National and International Publications to her credit
